Blindly Led Astray

I just watched this video about children in the Niger Delta being abandoned, killed, burned, injured, because they were thought to be witches. The parents are doing these horrible things to their own children, because their church pastors and deacons are leading them to do this. These parents are being led astray; this is not the truth. Children are a wonderful, beautiful goft from God. Children are a blessing to our lives. The parents and pastors are blaming the innocent children when anything goes wrong within the home; a younger sibling dies, it's the child's fault; a parent looses a job, it's the child's fault; the child must be a witch. They can become a witch because a stranger gives it to them. And the parent's do not know how to rid their child of this witch, some think to harm the child would only be killing the witch, when that doesn't work, they are abandoned, forced to live on the streets or the marketplace. A group of parents said that in order to rid their children on the witch they pay the pastor to take care of it, to do a exercism of sorts, to rid their child of the witch. They pay the pastor.

This man tries to teach people better ways; he tries to tell these parents that their children are wonderful, beautiful gifts from God, and that they are not witches. A beacon of hope for this generation.
Do these look like witches to you?
