My name is Mark and I'm an immigrant from Georgetown, Guyana. I was led to believe that America was a bed of roses and that the people over here are all well off from TV commercials and ads and movies because they all depict what America should be and look like which is nothing of the sort. I came here to America on February 6, 2005 and what I was was dispickable and untollerating American was not what I thought it was. The people here are even more poorer than the people where I;m from and that's bad. What are the people with all the mony in the world doing? All you have to do is give and have a heart.

Wow. I'd say that is so sad. This man came here to have a better life, for oppertunities he didn't think he had in Ghana, and he was majorly disappointed. That makes me sad. America has so much to offer. The economy of the United States has been the world's largest national economy since the late 1890s; its gross domestic product (GDP) was estimated as $13.8 trillion in 2007. And still we don't have big enough hearts to take care of others. That is sad.

All you have to do is give and have a heart.
